Terms of Service

1. Who can use Strangerio

You must be at least 18 years old. Strangerio is not intended for, and must not be used by, anyone under 18. We remove accounts that appear to belong to minors and may report them where required by law.

You may not use Strangerio if you have been banned, or if using it would be unlawful where you live.

2. The service

Strangerio matches you with other users at random, optionally taking into account interests and, for Plus members, filters such as gender or country. We do not guarantee that a match will be available, or who you will be matched with.

Video and audio are always sent through our own relay servers, so the other person never receives your IP address. We do not record calls.

3. Your conduct

You are responsible for what you say and show. You must follow the Community Guidelines. In particular you must not share nudity or sexual content, involve minors in any way, harass or threaten others, spread hate, spam, scam, advertise, or record or share other people without their consent.

You must not attempt to interfere with the service, bypass bans or limits, create fake or automated users, or abuse the invite program.

4. Moderation, reports and bans

You can report anyone in one tap. Reports may include a snapshot of the reported video as evidence. We use automated signals and human review to enforce our rules, and may suspend access for a period that increases with repeated violations.

We never sell unbans. You can appeal any suspension; a human will review your appeal.

5. Strangerio Plus

Plus is an optional paid subscription billed weekly, monthly or yearly through our payment provider. It renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period.

Because Plus starts immediately, you agree that it begins during any statutory withdrawal period. Where the law gives you a right to a refund, we will honour it. Daily limits apply to some Plus features (for example, filtered matches) to keep the community balanced.

Plus is linked to your device. Keep your recovery code safe: it is the only way to restore Plus on a new device or browser.

6. Invite program

You may earn free Plus days when people you invite join and genuinely use Strangerio. Rewards are limited per day and per month, and invites from your own devices or network do not count. We may withhold or remove rewards obtained through abuse.

7. No warranty and liability

Strangerio is provided “as is”. Conversations are with strangers whose identity and behaviour we cannot guarantee. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for the conduct of other users or for indirect or consequential losses.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Changes and contact
